It feels bittersweet that my team is probably out of contention for this season. There is still a slim chance... but I can pretty much relax my nerves for the rest of the season. Cause do we even have a QB for Thursday night?

Get a meat thermometer. Several. If your buying seasoning mixes always try to find no/low salt. Control the salt, dont let it control you. Use fresh bay leaf over dried.

- Heat your pans and oils SLOWLY. - There's never too much garlic for pernil - Season your damn vegetables - When baking cookies, take them out the moment they look brown because they keep cooking for a bit after oven removal - Patience > "done" fast
