Jamarah Amani is a leader in the birth justice movement, authoring the Black Midwives Model of Care & Birth Justice Bill of Rights. She is a mother of 4, a community midwife, executive director of grantee partner Southern Birth Justice Network, and a 2024 Ms. Foundation Women of Vision honoree.
