Saddened to find out that this is the final issue of the journal ‘failed haiku’, but honoured to have this haiga / art chosen for the cover

An oldie - this haiga won the Jane Reichhold Memorial Haiga Contest once upon a time… it was done in response to what was happening in Afghanistan at the time, but seems relevant anew with the current situation toward the dissolution of women’s rights and autonomy
