Still don't legit understand why some St. Louis Democrats decided it was a good idea to primary someone *to the right* of this person. They should be chased out of town on a horse. All of them.

Can’t fully express what it meant to have Vice President @kamalaharris.com look me in the eye and tell me how proud of me she is. Grateful to be able to introduce my wife, Natalia to her. Surrounded by women who lift the ceiling everywhere they walk. 💙

Those of you who don't live in St. Louis can't really understand the damage Bell's candidacy and victory has done to the progressive movement here. That we have to spend this energy and time arguing with each other instead of whooping Wagner's ass is dumb. And the blame for it is at his feet.

My question for the Big Tech leaders who still push each other out of the way to stand at the head of Trump's lunch line every fucking day: How can you not anticipate the inevitable blow back when his corruption and your sloppy ineptitude (esp. around AI) invariably collide?

The Trump administration has extracted over $13 billion from Venezuela in oil revenue yet cannot explain where the cash went. Oversight Dems are investigating.

For all the heat Bush supporters get for being "mean" online, Bell supporters are the sorest fucking winners in St. Louis. Bro. Your guy won. He left his morals at the gate and spent millions in conservative money to do it. If you can live with that, then you can leave me alone. JFC.

Unless your hot take about Bell's victory last night includes the fact that the district has been redrawn with more affluent, conservative and very, very white voters, then please just don't. I can't today with you. Sit down. Let the grown ups handle this.

Wesley Bell's campaign lit proudly features a quote from the same exact people who are dismantling CBS News and censoring journalists at 60 Minutes. Is "fighting Trump" also carrying water for the Ellisons? We have one more opportunity to vote him out this cycle. St. Louis? Do the right thing.

It's worth noting that the lesson from Bari Weiss is that her ideological pursuits have been very, very, very bad for business. She's officially the Roose Bolton of media. Yeah, it's all made her terribly rich. But at what cost to her and her boss?

Scoop: I’m told that Ross Douthat is exiting The NYT and is expected to take a role at “60 Minutes.” News expected to be announced soon.

Yes I'm going to watch the Jared Leto doc on YouTube. No, I'm not surprised. He worked a child in an industry that modeled this behavior for him. He likely witnessed what he's accused of doing as the norm countless times. The Hollywood system wasn't defending *him*. They were defending each other.

I'm having one of those frustrating experiences getting to the right specialist to deal with an immediate (and painful!) issue that reminds me of why and how people are pushed into the open arms of quackery. I will get it sorted--I always do--but not before spending 90 minutes on the phone.

Wesley Bell is the kind of representative who only pays attention to you or what you're dealing with when he's confident you voted for him. To that point: I haven't seen him offer any ground support for "no" on A4 and 5 efforts across the state. Bro?????

Senator Marshall was elected in 2021; he clearly thinks this is an equally popular message for his 2026 campaign. There are 11 dems vying to run against him (primary in August). A reminder that Kansas currently has a Dem governor (whom I wish were 10 yrs younger and motivated to beat his ass).

Sen. Roger Marshall on Fauci: "Look, this makes Watergate look like a situation where some kids broke a window at recess and they're trying to hide that from their teacher ... he should go to jail"

Happy Monday, St. Louis. I bring you the most peak St. Louis post of all time. This is the Imo's Pizza of social media posts in that if you have no idea what those words mean then we don't have time to explain it to you. To my locals: Bask in our glory. I really do truly love us.

If Bell is so keen on taking part in the Jewish culture, this Jew is inviting him to Google my description of his incumbency thus far: It's a shanda. Also, that Cori and her husband diverted campaign $$ to a PAC to pay themselves a stipend? It's fucking legal. www.stlmag.com/news/wesley-...

Wesley Bell sued for assault, battery, and negligence during raucous 2025 town hall

A few weeks before voters go to the polls, incumbent U.S. Rep. Wesley Bell is now facing a lawsuit over how his security detail handled protestors after a town hall last year that started out raucous ...
