i haven't streamed on twitch in ages but i may just delete my account entirely because i refuse to let them do whatever they want it's why i left twitter, it's why i left instagram, etc. i know creatives need platforms for reach, but why even give these companies power and total control over you?

FYI to anyone who streams, Twitch is using channel content to train generative AI models for Amazon. This toggle appeared in Twitch settings and it's opt-in by default. I'm considering just leaving Twitch, but at the very least, everyone should know they can uncheck this.
