This is the official page of the Maryland Department of Transportation's Maryland Transit Administration (MTA), a state-operated public transportation agency.

Have a question or an idea about MARC? Come meet the managers who help run the system every day. Share your feedback, ask questions, or just say hello, they’re here to listen. The next one is tomorrow morning August 5th from 5:00 am-7:20 am at the Monocacy station.

Due to a fallen utility pole blocking both tracks at Patapsco station, Light Rail service to that station is temporarily suspended. Shuttle bus service is in place between Camden Yards and North Linthicum stations to accommodate passengers. Please allow extra time for your travels.

After more than 13 years at @mta.maryland.gov including 5 as Administrator, I have made the decision to step away.   Working alongside MTA team has been the honor of my career. I am proud of what we accomplished & grateful for the employees who work every day to move Maryland.
