Please read both posts ⚓ 1) It's the feast of the #Assumption of Mary, Mother of Jesus today and we're enjoying some time in the garden together. This battered, kitsch, statue of Mary was in a church in Middlesbrough. She's saturated in years of prayers, pleas, & confidences & I love her for that.

Oh my goodness this! 'There are too few stories of continuation' I'd also like to say to anyone meeting folk with illnesses & disabilities in a church or prayer situation that healing is not the same as 'getting better' Don't be the person who makes that presumption
