Her research examined tourism in Indigenous territories and community-based conservation, linked to her work with Dukha reindeer herders in Mongolia.

Our researcher @outi.bsky.social (@helsinki.fi) contributed to Finland’s national media literacy education policy, strengthening Sámi recognition. The Sámi Parliament is now acknowledged as both an implementer and partner, highlighting cultural sustainability and Indigenous agency in digital spaces.
