There's no better feeling than being able to tell your friend about a negative feeling you're having and them NOT making it a problem. The feeling gets to exist and be acknowledged without being an issue β¨οΈ
It takes at least 5 meetings for someone to be accepted by my nervous system. Before that? ALL THE RED FLAGS, NO TRUST, ONLY FEAR AND TRYING TO FIND FAULTS.

It is ALSO autism awareness month and guess who is diagnosed autistic!!! It's honestly not a fun experience for me, and I have a lot of the tism sensitivities. It makes it really hard to let things go and makes it really really hurt when Im slighted.
Its sexual assault awareness month. I was SA'd between 5-13 yrs old. My adopted brothers scared me and my siblings into bl0wj0bs and allowing them to penetrate. They told us it was normal and then changed to "just keep it a secret."
Months later: My brother ran off with his enablers/people who are ignorant due to his manipulation and lies. His dog is still very scared but improving. He also no longer has the yeast infection whatsoever. My brother repeatedly claimed it was due to the dogs lineage, but now it's gone entirely so π€·

I'm disgustingly saddened over this. I wish the vet suggested bloodwork when we first started treating the gingivitis a year ago. She was my light, and I feel so lost without her. Hold your babies close for me.

They said it was likely genetic, and we had been treating her for gingivitis. I wish I saw the signs better, but at least I got this photo of her prior. She was the sweetest, calmest cat I've ever had. I'm devastated.
