Day two of the symposium offered opportunity to explore Vienna, repeatedly deemed the most livable city in the world. Thank you Timur Yorgan and Conny Schneider @currifex.bsky.social for organizing a Monster hunt tour along the famous Ringstraße.

Our community is at the heart of every MuSkITYR symposium. Mentoring sessions provided valuable insights into early academic life - from writing papers to exploring diverse career paths post-degree. Small group discussions encouraged our young MuSkITYRs to share their experiences.

It takes a village to raise a symposium, and we couldn’t have done it without the support of our Junior Chairs, Patrick Heimel, Dominik Hanetseder, and Regina Brunauer from @lbitrauma.bsky.social as well as Rosa Maria Nothnagel from AC2T research GmbH.

With 50 participants and 22 presentations from young researchers, the VI. MuSkITYR Symposium showcased the breadth and depth of research found in our community. From studies in basic science to translational and clinical research, the Vienna covered every stage in the journey from bench to bedside.
