Unsurprisingly, it really blitzed the box office this year.

THANK GOD! IT'S FINALLY OVER!!!!! Well… at least, for the time being. But even then, we still gotta combat this whole merger situation, so… KEEP ON FIGHTING!!!
The Warner Bros and Paramount merger has officially been put on hold Paramount has agreed not to close the deal until 5 days after the upcoming antitrust trial or June 1, 2027 — whichever comes first (via Variety)
I agree. It's honestly just sad. I mean, animators working tirelessly to pull off an animated movie for audiences to enjoy, and FIRING them is the thanks they get from the execs?! So freakin unfair, dude. I feel as if corporate execs are just SO bloodthirsty for more money than they actually need. 🤦♂️
It's genuinely despicable that after giving studios hits, execs pay back animators by firing them. It's such an unfair enviornent and these companies never treat their studios or employees fairly. I feel awful for everyone laid off at Pixar right now. Just heartbreaking.
Actually some GOOD news for a change, but the war ain't over yet. We gotta keep fighting. I hope to God this blockage will eventually be PERMANENT.
A judge has temporarily blocked the proposed Paramount–Warner Bros. merger. If the merger isn’t completed by Sept. 30, Paramount will begin owing Warner Bros. investors millions of dollars per day. (via Variety)
HAHA LAWSUITS GO BRRRRR. Take that, Ellison.
A coalition of 12 states have filed a lawsuit to block the Warner Bros & Paramount merger The states are Arizona, California, Colorado, Connecticut, Massachusetts, Minnesota, Nevada, New Jersey, New Mexico, New York, Oregon, and Washington
Just got back from watching Minions & Monsters! Needless to say, it was pretty enjoyable! There were some really fun moments, and it does a very good job at paying homage to 1920s Hollywood! Strangely enough, I feel as if this should be a master class at how to be a better director. Excellent!!! :D
Currently OMW to see Minions & Monsters! Pretty psyched for it! Wish me luck!!! ;)

Well, I bet they'll regret this, then. Given the record-breaking success of Backrooms as of late, and how much Kane Parsons refuses to embrace AI, this partnership WON'T end well for them. This decision will most certainly go down as one of the WORST mistakes they've ever gone forward with. 🤦♂️
A24 defends AI partnership “Our relationship with our audience is something we don’t take for granted .. We want to dictate what tools get built for artists, and so they have a voice in shaping them rather than having tools handed to them. We’d rather have a seat at the table than on the sidelines"
Just got back from watching Toy Story 5, and I'm happy to say it was amazing, and I really enjoyed it! Jessie's role as a major protagonist here was a significant improvement from TS4 (IYKWIM), and Smarty Pants was also a big one in the spotlight! Yet another great installment in the franchise! :)
I'm somewhat intrigued by this, considering this is an alien sci-fi! Thank God that Illumination is stepping back into original movies with this one. Although the aliens look sorta minion-like (AND as much as I'm not a fan of the "little green men" stereotype), I sure hope this turns out well! :)
Illumination has announced their next film which will be an original film titled Not Alone. It stars Timothée Chalamet and Selena Gomez and follows a mechanic & astronaut who hide three aliens that come to Earth for safety. The film releases on April 16, 2027.
Just finished watching the finale of The Amazing Digital Circus… Wow. Holey shit. What a way to wrap up such an unhinged masterpiece of a show. Although it ended on such bittersweet notice, it'll be remembered for years to come. Thank you @gooseworx.bsky.social, and thank you @glitchprod.com! :')
Exactly this! Happy anniversary to Elio!!! :D
Happy one year anniversary to Elio! It's such a beautiful, touching movie that means so much more to me than I could possibly describe, and it's profoundly unfair that its legacy as a film is overshadowed by failure. It deserved so much better, and I truly hope time will be kinder to it.
I'm very happy that this joke did NOT end up aging well this year! Thank God! Let's go Knicks!!!

This is so fitting because not only are the Knicks are playing, but it’s all happening on the same day as when this little Pixar masterpiece made this joke exactly 5 years ago today!

Even after KPDH, even after the Stranger Things finale, even after greenlighting Narnia TMN for WIDE theatrical release… AND THEY'RE STILL RELUCTANT?! That's some insane hypocrisy you just pulled off over there, Netflix. INFURIATING.
The fact that Netflix is still trying to play the "we don't believe in theatrical" card when films like Obsession and Backrooms are killing at the box office is so pathetic and lame that it's not even funny. They know they have to evolve cause movies in theaters ain't going.
"wE dOn'T bELiEvE iN tHeAtRiCal." SHUT UP. You know you gotta start putting your original movies in theaters especially when new indie hits like Backrooms, Obsession, and TADC:TLA are legit blitzing the box office as of late. Movie theaters aren't going away anytime soon, y'know.
Netflix film chief Dan Lin has reaffirmed that they will not work with directors who want theatrical releases. “There is a group of filmmakers who still want theatrical. Those are filmmakers that we’ve accepted we just won’t work with.” (Source: www.nytimes.com/2026/06/04/b...)
Stupidity at its absolute finest. Irredeemable. Bear with me on this. Anyways, go Knicks.
