For some reason I decided to look up the laptop I bought last year to see just how fucked things are I remember being shocked that a version with less RAM cost as much as I paid That worse version is now OVER ONE THOUSAND EUROS MORE EXPENSIVE

I have just spent the last 30 minutes trying to reach my local job center, with no success. All I get is a mix of busy signals and "Caller temporarily unavailable“

Finished yet another Blender project. As far as techniques go, it’s probably also the most advanced one. To the point where I almost dare to call myself an artist

Today, almost 4 months after my latop was repaired under warranty, I receive an email from the retailer that they learned that the laptop was sent back to me instead of them…

It's been a while and the heat has kind of pushed me to do something I can do while not moving too much... But I started a new small 3D project thing

I am FURIOUS Today I have to drive 36 kilometers one way to pick up essential things for my uncle who gets released from the hospital today. All because they won’t drive the 500 METERS it would have taken them to get it delivered to him in the hospital

Dear Blizzard Entertainment My battle net account was compromised at some point and the associated email was changed Just how the fuck do you expect me to log into my account to write a support ticket?

Okay, that whole SSD firmware thing is actually driving me nuts The latest update according to the Crucial website is version P3CR013 So far so good. But my drive says it has firmware version P3CR021, which may or may not be newer but doesn't exist as a download? I actually genuinely hate tech

So, I'm trying to update the firmwares of the SSDs in my laptop (one of them in particular has an important one that helps with thermal management) The update tool for the SK Hynix one takes 24 minutes to download 24 MB and the Crucial one can't find my Crucial SSD Sometimes I hate tech so much

Hust got back from my uncle in the hospital At least in its current state, the tumor is inoperable, as it wrapped itself around the colon. Which is what actually caused the first hospital to find it at all. It doesn’t seem to be connected to last year‘s cancer either Plan is radiation therapy

Fuck everything today They found a tumor in my uncle‘s pelvic body. Dude already went through bladder cancer last year and a stroke the year before that

No idea why I only thought of this now, but I decided to look around in the event manager for a bit to see how long/if people were working on my computer while it was away for repair Turns out the retailer's service department had the device on for... 20 seconds. That's it

I've been looking at the timeline of the repair of my laptop all weekend and it's honestly just keeps getting more bizarre. Pretty sure the laptop was repaired under the voluntary manufacturer warranty and the retailer, who should have been taking care of everything, doesn't even know it's repaired

You know, I think what annoys me most about this whole saga with my laptop is the fact that, if the retailer had just honored my consumer rights, I could have had the damn thing back before the start of April. Instead I had to wait for a full month and the retailer lost several potential customers

I still got it. Not quite PB, but the last time I seriously tried was in 2018 and I had another run that would have been faster if I had managed the last jump. That world rank should also be 14 places higher once you remove all the cheated times

Waiting for my laptop to (hopefully) get fixed sucks because it means I can’t really work on stuff. But then I realized I can still use my Switch 2 to play around with trying to recreate music
