Dad, ranged damage dealer, multi-instrumentalist, Sounders supporter, data junkie, pale Pacific Northwest guy.

I’ve been called gay slurs in public as a cisgender hetero dude several times literally because I was dressed well (sportcoat, nice hat, brogues). One of the times, I was pushing a stroller with my kid in it. Fellas, is it gay to *checks notes* wear menswear and father a child?

seeing conservative men debate how to dress online is very funny. can't dress up or wear interesting casualwear bc you've made any visible interest in dress to be a sign of homosexuality. but you feel the need to dress better bc you've linked dress to respectability. a prison of your own making.

Very good half for the boys. Albert, Jordan, Cristian playing like leaders. Lots of dimension from Clark. Been impressed by Stu Hawkins too. Tidy passing, a couple timely interventions.

Literally the first shot of the TV broadcast tonight: Jordan Morris, the all-time leading scorer of our club, walking down a hallway at Lumen with exclusively Seahawks regalia on the walls.

This is an interesting thought. I wonder what the economics of the Sounders being the primary tenant on the lease would look like without the Seahawks, if it’s even possible. The overhead of running the place without First & Goal would undoubtedly look very different.

literally fucking this. the Seahawks are new owners and they're gonna build some rich bitch monstrosity in Puyallup or something. lumen can be ours by default lol

Loads of what fans and players hate about the matchday experience, from concessions and ticket prices, to even the playing surface being dog shit most of the time, all stem from the fact that the Sounders have little to no pull in their home stadium. Hanauer is right that it’s untenable.

Love or hate Hanauer, love or hate the Renton Stadium idea, we are absolutely second-class citizens at Lumen in every imaginable way. Is that fair for arguably the most successful men’s sports team in Seattle history?

“We don’t have permanent locker rooms. That is not acceptable. There are not the revenue opportunities for these teams. You might know there are soccer teams here but barely. That’s not good enough. Scheduling not a high priority.”
