Cole thinks he's the Cool Teacher, but in fact he's the one with lore since he never fully answers questions they ask him kids: Mr Cole! why are you a teacher Cole: honestly not my plan but I got cornered on a mountaintop so y'know kids: wait wh- Cole: whooooo wants to learn about the rock cycle!!

Kai tried very hard to create a world of structure and clear expectations in his class- something he never had- but he's kind of losing his mind because these kids don't understand how lucky they are to have such a supportive atmosphere Student: ugh I hate school I just want to play games Kai: hnng

we only canonically see Kai and Zane's classes, but we do see Cole and Jay interact with the kids- Jay seems to antagonize his fellow teachers but generally take on the "exhausted teacher who's more interested in his hobbies than class material" if he starts talking about it that's the rest of class

Zane is that teacher who doesn't know what a vape pen looks like but will listen to you infodump for an hour after class, then drive you home because you missed the bus

need to think more on Jay and his upbringing as a really bright kid who was alone among his peers in his love of inventing. something something the shadow of loneliness over the rest of his life. will come back to it later

people from Kai and Nya's village likely came together to help them. their parents disappear? parents with free time comes by every week to help them cook and clean. farmers refuse to take payment from them at markets. during winter neighbors always seem to have spare firewood and coal. 1/3

does Zane relish in changing his panels or does he hate that his body can be replaced good-as-new when the people he loves have flesh and organs that degrade? does one of them need an organ transplant someday? is he furious when he realizes he will never be a candidate to help them?

pure titanium can't corrode or tarnish (in our world) but realistically with all the shit going on in ninjago SURELY Zane's panels must change color over time or get damaged- does he keep it as a marker of age? does he despair when one gets replaced with a shiny new panel?
