Day 18 Keep refining Kaz. She will breathe life x3 And maybe a bit freaky~
Day 17 Created myself a kobold OC. Or at the very least a concept design of her. Kassidy may make more appearances in the future. ^^
Day 16 Working on a comm for a follower. Trying to figure out design choices for the ref sheet.
Day 15 Cloth study. Want to do more than simple flat stylized clothing. Want to do more dynamic clothing. Back to learning folds.
Day 13-14 I'm gonna turn this mouse into a finished piece. Can you all suggest me some cute outfits to put her in while she's in the rain? The clothes will be wet. Need to practice.
Day 10 Want to do some pin-ups for my bunny so...pose warm ups. That and needed the amorphous wings to feel like an extension of the bun so trying to figure out how it would flow with the movement of the poses as well. Anyway, relaxing and then back to art I owe ^^
I want to see more artists sketches to not only study from them, but honestly, I'm finding the messy shitty art I'm making is at least validating my struggle for the craft. This is my growth. And also, screw image generation.
Day 9 Working on both ideas for spooky season and working on the maned wolf ref. ^^
Day 8 Spent a little time with the maned wolf. Think I've found the way I want her mane to be. Fighting burnout sucks, but we keep pushing here. ^^, Brain will get better. Promise.
Day 6-7 (Don't you dare! I see you!) From a pinched nerve in my back and pushing through work in the background, I spent some time working on my own projects. Through messing around with several sketches and scraps, I may make myself a maned wolf lass. Charity event over, it's time to buckle down.
Day 5. Hopefully starting Monday I can have more time for my studies. Anyway, spent a little time sketching a mouse in a more button nose style.
Day 4 Went to an apple festival so uh...Apple. plus, challenging myself means drawing things other than characters.
Day 3 More figure art study. Did some hands too. So you know, these ugly attempts were under a 5 minute timer. Had to drop the sketch when time was up. Ideally, I'm trying to fix my need to overthink and trust the flow under the time crunch. I got to improve my hands and feet. ^^,
Day 2 Was able to do some feet studies. Need to draw more hands and feet. This is just figure art attempts. Just trying to do more confident lines and draw what I see. Even if it looks like crap.
For those who don't know, today marks the day of my 100 day art challenge. Not so much about doing finished product as much as study and discipline for good habit building with my art. The floor is at minimum 10 minutes. Ceiling is 2+ hours. Day 1, I worked on a Mightyena anthro, for 4 hours.
Played with the lasso tool some more. Definitely using it for thumbnailing ^^
