33 yo dude creating and exploring worlds on VRChat. I am mostly posting about WIP stuff, Unity and world recommendations.

I updated my 3D Camera asset and added a "fisheye" option, so you can take fisheye pics! I also added a world prefab to render 3D pics in your VRChat world. Technically, the fisheye pics can also be used as matcaps. Not ideal since not true 180° pics, but it kinda works.

I recently learned that Unity's OnValidate event is supported by U#, allowing you to run code when a property changes in the Inspector without entering play mode. better late than never I guess... Here I use it to automatically update the lights and reflection probes in the scene.

(1/2) You may have noticed that issue in some VRChat worlds where sitting on a chair kinda throws you out of it. This issue seem to happen when the seat's enter position isn't pointing upward, although there might also be other reasons.

If you're using my 🐐 I mean my portable panel system, I would recommend updating it to the latest version as it added "partial" 3rd person view support and added PSVR2 controller support (this was a bug, hopefully it should work on all future released controllers) 🔗 in the reply #VRChat

After my world release, it peaked at around 700 users during Japanese peak hours, and half that number during European/American peak hours. It shows how important it can be to include Japanese translations, especially when there are dialogs or text. The JP community is huge.

I open sourced the player teleporter system I use in my NUCLEUS II world. There are a bunch of player teleporter systems out there, but personally I needed a system that also supported checkpoints, persistence and a few other things. 🔗 Link in the replies #VRChat

After releasing a world, I usually had ideas for what to do next, but after releasing NUCLEUS II, I'm not sure. I think a game world with advanced features for FBT users could be interesting. A few people suggested making a chill world, but it feels a bit "overdone"? I'm open to suggestions!

I will probably update the world one more time at the end of this week, and I decided to open more picture slots. If you're interested and don't have a picture in that hallway yet, please follow the instructions in the quoted Tweet! Deadline 16th, so a shorter deadline than previously. #VRChat

Hello everyone, quick announcement! In my NUCLEUS II world, I'm building a corridor where each frame displays a 3D portrait of different players. If you would like to be included, you can visit the world I'll post in the replies! #VRChat

Initially, I wanted to make a thread about how to create a simple parallax effect in Unity UI without using custom shaders, but I felt that making a video would be better this time. Let me know if you like this format. #VRChat

Hello everyone! I'll be hosting my first birthday party on the 11th of July, and several DJs will be performing. Feel free saving the event if you're interested. After the event, I was planning to release NUCLEUS II. Hope to see you there! 🔗 Link in the replies 🔗

Today's my birthday! Also, last reminder that the NUCLEUS II pre-release event will take place this evening, see the quoted-tweet for more details. Feel free to add the event to your VRChat calendar if you're interested.

There's currently an article written by Malwarebytes claiming that VRChat suffered a data breach. Take this info with a pinch of salt, as it might be fake news

I really liked Furality this year. The VRChat worlds were great, Club F.Y.N.N. was even better than last year, and the fireworks were amazing. I had a lot of fun hanging out and made some new friends. Everyone was super chill and having a great time.

Thanks everyone for watching my panel! I hope you enjoyed it, and I hope you learned something new. Hopefully, it will be uploaded later on Furality's YouTube channel. I was talking really fast since I had so many things to say, so you'll be able to rewatch it at your own pace.

Furality released the panel and event schedules. My panel "Unity Lighting & Visual Polish in VRChat" will take place the 4th of June at 6:00 PM (UTC+0). It will mostly focus on light baking and shader tricks to improve the visual quality of your world. #VRChat

The past few Furality events, I tried making my Tron-themed avatar fit the Furality theme, but this year my original avatar style fits more the theme. I'm pretty happy with the result, and I like how the baked emissive lights turned out.

Seems like the Unity asset store has some sales right now, many assets are -90% off, for instance I saw 2€ bundles that previously cost 100€ So, if you're looking for some assets, it might be worth checking out those sales. 🔗 in the replies

I think an interesting way to to simulate lightning in Unity is to increase the intensity of a reflection probe and the skybox for a split second, no RT light sources or post processing needed here #VRChat

I just updated the Spiri'Vali tech glasses on my Gumroad, it now includes a variant for Furality Ultra. Shaders were made from scratch using the Amplify shader editor. Personally, I like how the AudioLink/video effect turned out. 🔗 Free download link in the replies #VRChat

Currently working on the "Furality Ultra" update of the cyberglasses shader, which I'll release as a free update. There will be an option to set a custom flipbook texture + parallax support. No ETA yet, as I'm also busy with a bunch of other things, but hopefully soonish #VRChat

(1/4) Since VRChat announced avatar performance-gated group instances, I saw many discussions related to the current avatar performance ranking system. I decided to make this post since I've noticed a few misconceptions. (Sharing text screenshots because of character limit...)

Developer Update April 9 2026

An excuse to show off what I'm making? Hell yeah! Last few days I've started working on a new world, not seen much of this aesthetic in VRC and thought it'd be cool to see if ppl would like it as a hangout spot. (As if there's not enough of those already xd)
