Yesterday for the first time in decades I shot actual film using my 50+ year old apparently still working Pentax Spotmatic. Only the processing will tell. Next, testing my repairs on my not quite so old Nikon FG. Still trying to wrap my mind around the whole back to the 70's aspect of it...

Yesterday I joined the #homerathon at the National Hellenic Museum as they read the entire Odyssey (in English translation, with guest appearances by several other languages). I got the bow stringing scene. It was good fun, and a nice return to my classics roots.

What a joy (not) to see that my IP has been used without my permission for the feeding of AI models... People pirating my book to READ it is one thing, probably they wouldn't have bought it anyway, maybe they'll tell someone else about it, etc. But seeing it used to feed the AI beast... 🖕
