Word of advice to any parent out there that is seriously looking at shelling out the outlandish amount of cash Nintendo is asking for the Switch 2 for an upcoming child's birthday or special occasion: consider rescuing an animal instead. Consoles are temporary, but the love of a dog is eternal.
Recently, I managed to implement and test a variant of Sonic 2's SMPS sound driver into an engine-base project I'm working on called Hedgebrew (based on the source code of Sonic's Fun & Easy Adventure, hence the placeholder level design). No Hedgehogs were harmed in the making of this footage.
