A few of us could still see a brief shower through early evening but for most the rain is over. Temperatures will remain in the comfortable 70s with a light northwesterly breeze.
One last downpour for most of us as the cold front makes it's push through. Winds will shift to the north and freshen behind the rain. Dry for most after 4 pm.
Showers pivoting through the are the next couple hours. Chance of lightning low but non-zero. Trending dryer from late afternoon through the evening.
Waves of light rain possible all day. Wouldn't shock me if we heard thunder. It would shock whatever was under that thunder.
Our afternoon weather balloon found a hot, humid, uncapped airmass just waiting for a trigger. The balloon also found a big layer of dry air aloft, so any of those storms can collapse into a wet microburst with damaging gusts, brief downpour, sudden temp drop. Nashville likely stays dry.
