In July, we responded to a rally against transgender rights by taking over the streets and dancing in a celebration of trans joy. Music is resistance, and fascism will never go unchallenged. On 19th September, we're doing it again. Join us on at Parliament House in Melbourne at 11.30am.

I've been so hard on each individual dem who breaks for years now. I feared this.

Who are these mystical "moderate" voters who would vote for Dems if only they start calling trans girls men? Why is any trans person who has a platform repeating the nonsensical and completely unevidenced talking points of right wing Third Way lobbyists?
admittedly it was a strange choice for what's ostensibly an adaptation, but i'm really glad that this time illumination focused on telling an engaging story with compelling characters instead of just squeezing in as many lazy references as possible like they did in the first film

From a few dozen pieces of legislation in 2015 to over a thousand in 2025. It started with sports bans in 2020 and now we're here. it was never about sports.

Matthew Sheffield@matthew.flux.community · 3mo agoThis paper doesn't use the term "intentional stance," but it does really expose that imputation of consciousness is an act by the observer that's usually not based on dispassionate analysis of the observed's internal structures.
