Rams DC Chris Shula declined to say whether Aaron Donald has taken 11-on-11 reps in practice yet. But he said he’s super excited to have him back on the team and welcomes any challenge of fitting him in.

Sean McVay said the plan is for all of the Rams players to travel to Australia for Week 1 against the 49ers. No commitment yet from Sean McVay on whether Aaron Donald will be able to play in that game yet.

The Rams have cut 7th-round DT Tim Keenan III from the practice squad to make room for LB Jamie Sherriff. L.A. is down to four players drafted this year and one of them, 3rd-round OL Keagan Trost, will miss at least the first four games on injured reserve.

Stan Kroenke is acquiring the Los Angeles Angels from the Moreno family. Kroenke will now own controlling interest of the Rams and Angels in L.A., in addition to the Denver Nuggets, Colorado Avalanche and Arsenal.

Rams captains this season: QB Matthew Stafford RB Kyren Williams WR Davante Adams C Coleman Shelton TE Tyler Higbee DE Myles Garrett DL Kobie Turner DB Quentin Lake CB Trent McDuffie LB Nate Landman LS Joe Cardona

Aaron Donald is not practicing today. Just working out in the weight room. No Myles Garrett (knee) either. Terrance Ferguson (soreness) and Grant Stuard are working off to the side. Puka Nacua and Byron Young are practicing.

The Rams announced their practice squad. All familiar faces from this summer, including RB Dean Connors, CB Cam Lampkin, S Nick Andersen, OT Blake Hance and 7th-round DT Tim Keenan III.
