Kirby should just ask Shep if they can go to a running clock because he's just coaching to go home anyways.

Stress and addiction neuroscientist. Here for the Science, sports and memes.
Kirby Moore has less belief in this offense than the fans do lol
If he starts again they should just take a mulligan on Kirby and sign the pink slip.
I blame Kirby for lacking the guts to make a change.
Back in Pullman for the first time in 15 years. Arizona count your days.
The beatings will continue until the Longacres stadium is built.
This Sounders thing is going to get a lot worse before it gets better.
This is the thing. The kids are TRYING. But Rusnak Nouhou Moose Jesus and the other senior guys are just awful. Letting them down with every touch and Adrian and Waibel sold them all up a creek by selling off any half decent depth for cash THEY AREN'T EVEN USING.
The Sounders at this point are basically Rothrock, Ragen, a washed DP, and the Defiance. They’re rolling out an Open Cup lineup every game at this point.
The Sounders are legitimately terrible at every aspect of the game. It's incredible. Can't attack, can't defend, no IQ, can't stay healthy, dumbest team I've ever watched. Can't gameplan, Can't roster build, can't pick the right players to keep. Just a disaster down to the core.
Oh he's cooked lmao. He may be more checked out than I am
Schmetzer: “Am I concerned? Of course. But look at the end of the day, could we have won the game? Maybe. The men's hockey team in nineteen eighty beat us beat the Russians. And we beat Miami last year in Leagues Cup final. We were the underdogs. So things like that can happen.”
Credit to all the sickos still watching the Sounders team. I've hit sim to end.
Hanauer is an MLS 1.0 owner in an MLS 5.0 world. He's not fit for purpose and he needs to realize that for the good of the club. Sell to someone who actually cares to try and win.
It sucks because this is Hanauer and Waibel's fault and they deserve to go but what actually is going to happen is either 1)Schmetz falls on the sword and gets canned or 2) they say the injuries were insurmountable and let this season become the most depressing and toxic one in club history
I'm not saying this Sounders team has quit. I'm just saying they also know they're cooked.
"THIS time we're going to look even longer and deeper in the mirror!"
‘All I ask is that you judge us on how we respond to this because that's going to be the ultimate test of who we are. You can have off nights, and we certainly had one tonight. But it's important that we take a deep long look in the mirror on this one.’ - Paul Rothrock
Sounders wanted to be judged on their response to the Portland game?

Indicative of my issue with this roster as a whole. Lots of floor guys. Guys who should keep you from bottoming out, maintain your competitiveness but aren't really going to win you anything. Very few ceiling raisers. Who in this squad is top 5 in the league at their position? Top 10?
I like Dotson. I think he works hard, he's got some decent football intelligence, and he seems like a good team guy. But he's an enormous step down from Cristian, and the team can't weather that.
He can send a message by opening up his wallet or putting a for sale sign out front.
Proper leagues fire managers after losses like that. I’m not advocating for firing Schmetzer, but… Hanauer needs to send a message to the fans after that one that he’s actually doing something as an owner, or we’re going to see “sell the club” signs in the stadium pretty soon
Well that's not a great answer half way through the season and coming off a six week break.
‘I have to look if we have the right players to press high up field. We might have tho change that.’
Turn in your shirts boys. You're playing in pinnies until you earn them back.
The Sounders have shown very little ambition in any facet of the club since the CCL title and this is the blaring alarm warning that the rot has set in. Major changes needed, top to bottom, if this team is going to do anything more than hand around and collect ticket revenue.
Thanks for your service Craig Waibel but it's time to go.
I would rather watch penalties than have away goals be the tiebreaker. Have always hated that rule.
The broadcast graphic just gave the Sounders 2.78 expected goals and I have no clue how they're getting that number.
Sounders created chances and even put a lot on frame but they gave up way too many, too.
Would the last person in Pullman please turn out the lights?
There’s no there there. It’s a completely hopeless exercise.
David Riley praying it takes 6 months to hire a new AD and it's just too late to replace him at this point.
