En route from Brighton to Worcester on Sunday, I stopped off at Eastleach Martin for the Long Tailed Shrike, which showed beautifully! My first UK Shrike, probably unusual to start with Long Tailed 😂 Hare & a group of 12 Grey Partridge in the adjacent field was nice to see too! #glosbirds

Highlights at St. Aidans RSPB this morning were the ridiculously showy Little Owl on Oddball and 4 summer plumage Black Necked Grebes on the East Reedbed pool. This Puss Moth caterpillar was very cool as well! Also Common Terns, Black Tailed Godwits & Kestrels #rspb #staidans #yorkshirebirds

A quick stop at Llyn Brenig whilst in N. Wales on Sunday in hopes of seeing Osprey. Viewing platform very far from the nest but 1 bird was on it, and good views were had from the cameras at visitor centre. Unexpected highlight was a lifer Willow Tit near the feeders, also Siskin!
Tree Pipit from Midsummer Hill was the highlight from this mornings walk on the South end of Malvern range. Also GSW, Red Kite flew close, a very smart red Linnet + Raven, Nuthatch, Bullfinch & a good selection of warblers #worcsbirds
