Thrilled to be shortlisted for the Rhys Davies Short Story Comp! Hoping this one’s a step up from my first story, where a mermaid invited me to tea, I said “Mam says it’s too late,” and she swam off. That was it (still my tidiest ending). Thanks to the judges and congrats to all! ❤️
