Juniper Shieldbug on Juniper. Usually see them on Lawsons Cyprus in the garden but have a nice protected population of Juniper locally so had a quick look and bingo

Incoming !! St. Albans Abbey Herts

A nice male Stonechat sitting on an electric fence recharging after a circuit or two around the cow pasture. Shockingly beautiful, turning every negative into a postive (All puns intended)

I was pleased the Yellow Browed Warbler was still at Verulamium park, St. Albans i was beginning to feel guilty that this little sprite had flown all this way, 3000 + km or so and i hadn't made time to go and say hello. Luckily when i finally got there it came and found me.
