i could never bring myself to hate Memories of phantasm. like yeah there's a bunch of problems to it, it would bee too long to list. but the fact that a guy made what practically a full fledge anime with the budget of 2 Shawarma is just cool to me

It being a gacha is the main reason why I'm not into umamusume. The other reason is I'm not really into idol and idol esque media like uma, idol master, p Sekai, etc. Even in a female characters dominant series, I always prefer something like wandering witch, touhou, kancolle, and others like that.
endfield is especially dissapointing for me. i was a big BIG arknights fan back in the day and factory game is one of my favourite genre. there isn't exactly an rpg/exploration/factory game in the market other than MC modpacks like meatballcraft and DJ2. i was so excited when it was announced. damn
I could be wrong but is touhou the only series where you could make a monetizeable fanmade h-game legally? Like while lately monetizeable fangame is not super uncommon (looking at you hololive), i felt like not a single series other than touhou allows h-fangame to be sold in internet marketplaces.
I do like shipping but lately I've been extremely demotivated to do any sort of Yuri art because how loud and pushy some people who were into these kind of stuff are. Even fujos aren't even this harsh with their preference.
Warcrime simulator like RimWorld and Stellaris has always been my comfort game tbh. They helped me go through some though times.
