I love video games.

Even though I don't make a ton of videos, one thing I've always enjoyed doing is featuring a channel I like at the end of them. Even if only a few people discover a new channel in this way I think that's pretty cool.

I know it's been trendy to hate on Nintendo the past year or so (maybe less so now with all the Sony stuff) but seeing fully fledged games like Rhythm Heaven Groove and Splatoon Raiders come out for $40 and $50 respectively is awesome. The variable pricing model is actually something they stuck with

This is such a shortsighted and misleading kind of statement to report with so little context. This is just for the US only but even still there are still millions of physical sales across so many games and boiling stuff down like this makes no sense. A silly thing to put out there by Piscatella.

Amid the backlash to Sony’s decision to end production of discs, just 7 PlayStation games have sold more than 100,000 physical copies in the U.S. so far this year. https://bit.ly/4h7EmZ5

You know, one aspect of the conversation I haven't heard much of when discussing Sony killing physical games is that like.... any dev can already choose to release their games only through digital means. Sony is literally just removing the option of physical for both consumers AND devs/publishers.

I honestly had no idea this game existed. There were a few other Zill O'll games released only in Japan that I knew about but this is the only one that got released outside of Japan and I had no clue lol

Sony used to fund and publish so many games back in the day. They put their money behind a ton of small weird projects and lots of them never even made it out of Japan. And these are just the ones that I own. There are countless more.

One of the coolest things about Rhythm Heaven that I've always brought up when talking about it was that you can totally play the game with your eyes closed or even if you have a vision disability. Well, in Rhythm Heaven Groove they added a mode that completely removes the visuals! So awesome!

The fact that the first social media post from Playstation after announcing they're getting rid of physical discs is a about a fight stick with the slogan "Always Ready for the Fight" is so idiotic. They are not ready for the fight.
