I knew this trip would be stressful af so I bought a Pitch Black Booster Bundle and said I would open a pack whenever I needed a mood boost. Got a Rampardos Hit in my first stress pack. *deep breath* There's that sweet sweet gambling serotonin.
Thought I'd make myself feel better and go visit a local card shop that I haven't been to in a while so I could look through Pokémon bulk boxes and look for hidden gems... Aaaand They got rid of their bulk boxes. I asked and the guy said "collectors are where the money is and they don't want bulk".
I just want to watch a movie I've seen 100 times that I don't have to really watch and I can veg out. *scrolling through HBO and sees Happy Feet 2* Man, I'd love to watch Happy Feet (1) again. (Unironically) Fantastic movie. Googled and found out I can only RENT it for $6 right now. 🤦🏼♀️
Tomorrow I'll be driving 4 hours to probably see one of my grandmothers for the last time. Truthfully we were never *really* that close and my feelings are a little complicated, melancholy mostly. My heart breaks for my grandpa though. They've been married for 62 years.
My arms are already starting to feel sore from my pool float adventure earlier. Not looking forward to tomorrow 😂
I might've made a miscalculation. I don't think this'll fit through the doors of my house...

Found myself at a Popmart today... Said, I'd be happy with any of them (the only way I'll buy a blind box nowadays) but I'd really LOVE Padme, Obi-Wan, B1, or Jar Jar. I chose one Heavy box and one Light box... And I STRUCK GOLD. MY QUEEN AND LITTLE ROGER.
One of my favorite phrases the British have ever come up with is "picky bits". I love saying picky bits and I always want picky bits.
I have to say, that was the fastest and most painless appointment I've ever had. I was out of there by 8:35am and honestly questioned if they even did what I paid for. 😂 I also DIDN'T get told my cabin air filter needed changed.

I found myself googling the following items today: "When does SNL start back up again?" "When does Hockey season start?" "When does Fire Emblem: Fortune's Weave release?" Beginning to tire of summer.
The "Other Mommy" trailer didn't scare Billie, like it did everyone else in the theater yesterday. It made him OBSESSED. He's now reading the book it's based on. Love that for him, but immediately no. Absolutely fuck that, personally. 😂
Now watching: Because I'm a good egg and waited for it to be released proper instead of watching the leaks.
No, but like I am SO EXCITED. Please see my favorite section of my bookshelves with all my greek/roman/other mythology books and retellings. My next tattoo will likely be Greek mythology inspired. As I said, I am SO FLIPPING excited to see this movie.
