The indictment of @splcenter.org did not happen because of the facts. It comes on the heels of the systematic dismantling of the Voting Rights Act & repeated efforts to make it harder for voters to vote, schools to teach history, health care to be affordable, and people to see an immigration judge.

📊55% of Asians expressed regularly experiencing assumptions of being foreign and 54% of Asians share that they’ve experienced at least one form of everyday discrimination. That’s what NORC and the Committee of 100 found after recently polling 2,021 people nationwide.
