Today, NDN Collective was notified that Pete Lien & Sons sent a letter to the United States Forest Service, officially withdrawing their plan of operations for the Rochford Mineral Exploratory Drilling Project (RMEDP) at Pe’ Sla.
We won!! Victory for sacred site Pe’ Sla!! 🥳 We received notice today, that Pete Lien & Sons has submitted a request to withdrawal their permit. More updates coming soon!
On Tuesday May 5th, we confirmed that all the drills and equipment associated with the Rochford Mineral Exploratory Drilling Project operated by Pete Lien & Sons were removed from every drill pad. This was confirmed by the protectors on site.
