The UCP had no mandate to replace the RCMP, threaten Canadian pensions, override Albertans' rights, or hold a costly separation referendum. They promised Albertans wouldn't pay for health care, yet they're privatizing services & passing costs to patients. Albertans deserve a government that listens.

The UCP government needs to deliver on the affordability needs of Calgarians, instead of gimmicks and fake announcements. The wasteful referendum costs could have been invested into the priorities of Albertans. Build schools and hospitals, deliver on basic public services.

75% of Albertans voted in support of Alberta remaining in Canada yet not single UCP MLA voted to support national unity. How can Albertans possibly trust that the UCP will focus on Albertans’ priorities when they can’t even vote for Canada?

One year ago, Danielle Smith used the notwithstanding clause to stomp on the rights of teachers by sending them back to work. Promises were made to teachers but nothing has changed for the learning environments for students. We can’t keep letting the UCP continue to hurt education in Alberta.
