U.S. Department of the Treasury: The United States has revoked the designation of the al-Nusra Front (also known as Hay’at Tahrir al-Sham) as a terrorist organization.

Trump reposted on his Truth Social account a post by Foreign Minister Asaad al-Shaibani, in which the minister spoke about Syria’s removal from the list of state sponsors of terrorism, two days after the 45-day deadline set for completing the decision had expired.

Officially, Syria has been removed from the list of “State Sponsors of Terrorism.”
