I’ve wanted to create a little narwhal habitat for a while now but never found a fabric I really adored. Then I stumbled upon this one while I was in the UK and knew I had to make this 2.75” hoop! #narwhalart #fabriccollage
Gosh, am I days behind in #januARTy 😅. My apologies! Here is my belated Day 10: blue! I’m created seascapes featuring whales this month (as I often do in January). This one is #fabriccollage with beading, sequins, and metallic thread!
It’s fitting to share this for #januARTy as it’s going to be on display in the Projects & Process Exhibition at University of Oregon in the Adell McMillan Gallery starting Monday! This piece took over 400 hrs, and is made up of 40+ fabrics, RAM chips, floss, beads & sequins. Inspired by Chicago.
