Last but not least, we spotlight Martin Jansen! ✨ He is a postdoctoral researcher at the Centre for Language Studies (Radboud University). He studies the relationship between misinformation and social media discussions about cancer screening programs and their public perceptions.

A warm welcome to Laure Dedecker, our new steering committee member! 🌟 Laure is a PhD student at the Media Psychology Lab (KU Leuven). Her research focuses on the role of social media in body image development among young individuals with visible differences using a multi-method approach.

Next up: Dr. Sofie Vranken! 🔥 She is a postdoctoral researcher at the Advertising & Media Psychology Research Group (University of Vienna). Her research explores how social media shapes teen health-risk behaviors and how it can mitigate the harmful impact of exposure to health-risk content

Say hello to Anne Sadza! 🤝 She is Assistant Professor at the dept of Communication Science at Radboud University. She recently completed her PhD on how teens interpret risk behavior portrayals in entertainment media, and parents' & peers' roles in shaping teens’ interpretations of risk behavior.

Meet Dr. Gaëlle Ouvrein, part of our steering committee! 💡Gaëlle is an assistant professor of marketing at the Vrij Universiteit Brussel (Dept of Communication Sciences). Her research focuses on the positive and negative interactions between media figures and adolescents in a digital context.

Introducing our next steering committee member, Dr. Paulien Decorte! 🎉 She is an MSCA YUFE4 Postdoctoral Fellow at the School of Business and Economics at Maastricht University. Her research project investigates how consumers make recipe decisions for their dinners using analytic app data.
