Well done Bev Craig and the campaign. And great speech. Glad she mentioned Peterloo. Democracy was fought for with real sacrifice. The rights we have today were not willingly handed down from on high. Important we remember that today.

20 hours later and I am still in a tidal wave of dizzying excitement and disbelief. For City to come back from a 95th min goal (Rochdale's first shot on target), a pitch invasion, and to have the character and determination to not let go is extraordinary. What a team. What a game. We are York. 3up.

I went to Rochdale vs York City, the first winner-takes-everything shootout in England since 1989. It had an even crazier ending. Live sport at its best inews.co.uk/sport/footba...

Strongly recommend watching the film California Schemin'. Went to see it at the cinema with my son yesterday. Audacious and enthralling true story about two young rappers from Dundee wanting to break out. Great performances. Really enjoyed it!

Remembering 1st Comic Relief in '86. Our headteacher said "just come in a funny costume". My Dad felled trees as a hobby so 8 year old me came wearing helmet, protective gloves & holding his smallest chainsaw to school. Got to 10.30 break before an ashen faced headteacher confiscated it. Good days.

Treat yourself and your friends. One of the most gripping and delightful books I've ever read.* An immersive experience into 18th century London as well as a beautiful page turner. I loved it from start to finish and want to read it all again. *Well, audio book which is just outstandingly performed.
