Listening to the @systemmastery.bsky.social episode about the Red Dwarf RPG, and I'm pretty sure I've got something better for playing a Red Dwarf game with the Space Losers setting for my Podcast From Another World game.
When people ask "How're you doing?" they are generally not read to hear you earnestly say, "Kinda bad actually." Which is fair, but sometimes it's true.
Randomly skimmed The Office Hack, a TTRPG I started on in the vein of Papers & Paychecks: people in a magical world play a game where they RP as workers in a post-industrial society. It's meant to be functional but very silly, and I have an idea for a thing for it called Wörk Borg.
I haven't quite gotten my head together enough yet, but I have a notion to write a very silly/weird web novel where I use my random tables as much as possible.
I enjoyed Spider-Man: Brand New Day for a lot of reasons, but one of them was that it made the MCU feel like an actual world, rather than feeling like stuff only exists when the camera is pointed at it.

Every now and then I remember what it was like going to movies before we got assigned seating here, and I am so glad I can just click what seats I want on a website rather than lining up with friends ahead of time and racing into the theater.
My new meds seem to be giving me more vivid dreams, so now I'm wondering if dreaming of seeing a gray cat barf up a life-size pigeon figurine means anything.
This is a fascinating book. Temu Star Wars but not unlike the first EU book Splinter of the Mind's Eye all it has to go on is Star Wars. Naturally there is a love triangle because who knew at the time. The Luke character's dad is revealed to be the Obi-Wan character. "Han" is a pirate captain.

According to Wikipeda, Zendaya's surname is just "Coleman," and I have no idea what to do with this information.
I don't even know where to begin with The Odyssey, but it's as good as people are saying. Also it has John Leguizamo as Euameus, and like the rest of the casting, it just works. The aesthetics are stunning, and every mythic thing is wonderfully unconventional.

Need to remind myself that a job search is a process and I don't need to do it All The Time, especially when I need to tend to my health.
Went to browse at Half-Price Books, not planning to buy anything, ended up walking out with a $10 copy of the novelization of Zardoz, which is a thing that exists in the world. #zardoz
With my current job anxiety I keep feeling like I just haven't been doing *enough* with my creative projects, and once I'm more stable I think I'm gonna go a little crazy with that stuff.
A thing about my current job search: I really need to remember that LinkedIn is not real life. Its job listings do algorithmic stuff and have sponsored postings just like most every other site these days. That's important because the available jobs are not all for managers and engineers.
This was always an amazing line, but I'm really feeling it right now.

My anxiety has really messed me up this time. I finally reached my doctor and got some new meds that will hopefully help, particularly with how unbelievably bad my sleep has been the past few days.
Re-listened to the Kill James Bond episode on Cars 2, where they got deep into the car versions of like Catholicism and the British Empire, and how there’d be three car podcasters reviewing Bond movies, but I wanted the car KJB to be doing a bonus episode about Pixar’s Humans 2.
