I shared this on my Japanese account too. My older cat, who’s very timid and easily startled, hasn’t been feeling quite himself since this morning. He had a checkup and a couple of injections, and now he’s completely worn out. We’ll keep an eye on him while he takes medication.

On August 1 and 2, my neighborhood celebrated its annual Bon Odori, a traditional Japanese summer festival where people gather to dance. Since 2018, the festival has featured Bon Jovi’s officially approved “Livin’ On A Prayer,” and it’s always the biggest crowd-pleaser.

It stayed cloudy in Tokyo today, with a high of 25°C (77°F), almost 10°C (18°F) cooler than yesterday. Meanwhile, Kumamoto, still recovering from the recent earthquake, topped 40°C (104°F) today, with some areas still without running water. I wish I could send some of our cooler weather their way🙏

Video killed the Radio star was the perfect song song to launch MTV I loved MTV but looking back now you can argue that it was the starting point where music became as much about image and style as it was about substance. It made 80’s Music more colourful and fun but a good thing long term?
