...so I've been doing runs in #Splatoon raiders I call "kraken runs", where I just spend most of my time swimming on ink while I let these orbitals just annahilate everything on my path. I heal quickly, I'm not spending ink, movement isn't an issue and everything dies.

Finally got around to gettin' my friend @neognw.bsky.social to help finish my fan Robot Master, Bloom Woman! The previous concept (seen on the right) lacked a bit of sauce, so a redesign was in order. Quite the glow-up wouldn't ya say? I adore the pseudo-venus flytrap angle going on here.

And job is done. ...to be honest, this run of DK64 has given me some perspective about the game and it came up a lot more positive than I would have expected. Full disclosure I do have friends in the rando community, but I played on my own semi-blind with no skips or tricks whatsoever.
