A long while ago I made a comic about Morag being a bad singer, but what about her other half? Fiona's overall decent, not enough to be a professional but good enough to lure in ships, much to her dismay. But thats why Morag keeps the dynamite on hand.
I figuired it might be good to give the comics a more comic feel so behold, panel borders! As for the actual comic itself its one of those ones I thought of when walking and decided ''yep thats good enough''.
Something different today, Its Gabumon, My favourite out of the omnimon duo's rookie forms. I wish weregarurumon was in digimon world 1 because if you want one of the ultimates used in the show then you're stuck with Metalgreymon. I know the game came before the show.
Been drawing mermaids alot for episode 3 of that fiona and morag animated thing so I was in the mood to draw a different species, I picked Morag to join her for a specific reason and if anyone guesses it I'll draw them a picture of any 1 of their OC's if they want as long as its SFW.
More posing practice, Hooray! Fiona and Morag always make for a good duo to practice with since I've drawn them both so much I dont need to look at their reference images.
Sitting on rocks isnt just for mermaids, even as a Lamia Morag was known to pick out random rocks in the woods and absorb the power of the sun, or as most people call it sunbathing. Morags specific species of Lamia is more akin to forest snakes than desert snakes.
Been a bit since the last mermaid melody style picture, This time its Erin since she's the only one left that matches the colours in the show, I dont have anyone thats a good fit for Green/Purple so we'll just have to leave it at 5/7 for now.

Sometimes I'll have the pose done and not know what to do for facial expressions, Today I was sleepy while drawing so sleepy Fiona it is.
I was going to do one of the characters from dragonball as a mermaid but then I remembered that there actually is a mermaid in dragonball, she has like maybe 15 seconds of screentime and no official name but that does mean mermaids do exist in dbz.
Its animal fact day, I mentioned before how dolphins sleep with half their brains but so do seals apparently. From what i've read (wikipedia, im not a scientist dont @ me) a lot of air breathing marine animals evolved the trait to help with the whole not drowning in their sleep thing.
I had the idea of those cat ear headphones having fish ears instead of cat ears and wanted to try it, as for the rest of the image I remembered I had a calamity run i was doing and should probably get back to that sooner or later.
Who doesnt love a reoccurring bit? I like to follow the rule of 3's so I'll probably do one more then retire the bit in a few months since I already get enough of drawing the same thing over and over again from animating.

Alot of maeve pictures recently, No real reason just an odd coincidence. But on the topic of maeve she'll never miss a chance to try get an add on sale whenever someone decides to purchase a land transformation from her.
I've seen a few diving videos where a grouper will just show up and just hang out with the divers for a while, from what i've read one of the reasons is curiosity which I find weirdly endearing.
Today is Maeve in her so called ''Sea witch outfit'', in reality its just a cosplay outfit she bought from bridget, The staff isnt even magical its just a piece of driftwood she picked up and thought looked cool. At the very least it does have a bit hat so thats got to count for something.
I wanted to try drawing a chibi style just for some variety, it didnt pan out that well and just ended up looking like a marketable plushie. Maybe I'll do the other characters if I feel like it.
Theres a myth that oarfish are signs of storms/tsunami's incoming and that catching one is a bad sign, First time i ever encountered one was in animal crossing as a kid and honestly having no idea what they were at the time I'd completely believe it.
Sometimes when I dont spin the wheel and pick the character myself I start to wonder what the actual percentages of whos in each picture are, Like Fiona and Morag would be in the highest range but if I went back and counted Maeves percentage I wonder what it would be.
Dancing underwaters probably a weird experience what with the freedom of movement and all that, On the bright side for a mermaid they dont have to worry about having two left feet.
The perk of having a large tail is it can be used as a cushion for your friends and loved ones. In a JRPG that would be considered a support role which means I would never use it since my caveman brain can only comprehend dealing damage in those games and literally nothing else.
I recently played through deltarune, all of it, Chapters 1-5. My favourite character is the milk guy and its not even close.

Saoirse's duties as a guard captain take her all around her local ocean, occasionally when shes at the surface for a while she'll get caught off guard by a large wave and wash up on shore.
Its no secret I like to use the cat mouth for drawing smiles, So for today only (unless I decide to do it again dont hold me to that though) im leaning into it and giving you catgirl versions of Fiona and Morag.
Being able to transform your shape at will is a useful ability, even more so when you dont tell anyone and they have no idea how to deal with you.
