Spoke to LBC news earlier about Starmer's PR stunt in Albania today. It shows that, yet again, this government is failing to grasp the complexities of trafficking, and asylum, and instead is focusing on measures which actively make things worse for everyone.

Doing the rounds of BBC local radio discussing Labour's plan to publish nationality "league tables" of foreign offenders. Put simply, there are absolutely no benefits to it, but the risks are huge. Inevitably it feeds far right narrative, leads to hostility against nationalities and embeds division.
