Had a fun weekend trip to the middle bits of Michigan’s lower peninsula. Really cool bridge from the 1930s, the last fire tower in lower Michigan, and the Manistee lighthouse and harbor.

I went to St Joseph Michigan on the Lake Michigan coast on Saturday to take some frozen lighthouse pictures. One of the coolest things I have seen I a long time. It has been so cold the lake was frozen into hills and cliffs 50 meters away for shore. #lighthouse #winter #frozen

I left my mirrorless camera at home and took my 1930s brownie six 20 on vacation. Shot 2 rolls of b&w and one roll of color. Really fun experience! Shot 24 pics and got about 12 good ones. Light leakage and my inexperience ruined a few. #shittycamerachallenge

After a long struggle with winter depression I am finally enjoying spoon carving again. Here is a spoon and spork in black walnut. The spoon for a friend, the spork for my camping kit. It’s big enough to cook with, but small enough for eating too!

Going to take some pictures of old abandoned bridge with my Brownie Six-Twenty in a bit. Can’t wait to see how they come out! Took pictures with my dslr 4 years ago.

First camping trip of the new year. It was windy and warm Saturday, raining and cold Sunday morning. I tested my new 1 person backpacking tent, but had coffee with my brother in his hot tent Sunday morning. Venison, potatoes and asparagus on the fire for dinner

We've been saving this little pup for when we thought you all might really need a gold star. And, given the current circumstances, here she is. 13/10

a tiny white dog stands on a tile floor and looks up at you. they’re wearing a big plush yellow star around their teensy noggin, like the world’s most congratulatory lion mane. we really needed to see her today.

Shots from my Kodak Brownie super 27. This camera is from the early 1960s. It uses 127 film, and this was 400 iso new film. When I went to load it in the camera it unspooled a bit, and the film kept advancing even if no one touched the winder. Only 3 came out, but I like them! #shittycamerachallenge
