Fango is heartbroken to announce the passing of Tim Curry, whose extraordinary career impacted generations of film, television, theater, music, and pop culture fans. Until we do the Time Warp again.

Just added to the book: a review/retrospective of THE HOUSEKEEPER. A truly bizarre From Hell thriller with Rita Tushingham as an English maid who battles a teleporting dog and threatens the American family she serves with a shotgun. This now-mostly forgotten Canadian pic played US theatres in 1987.

Rita Tushingham vs. Golden Retriever. Since a couple of people have asked about the 'teleporting' dog scene in THE HOUSEKEEPER (1987), here it is. Note: No dog was harmed in this scene (and he actually looks like he's having a jolly old time!).

New Review: A CRACK IN THE FLOOR (2001) "An abysmal post-SCREAM, scatologically obsessed slasher. ... Only a bizarre cameo by Gary Busey—where he talks about chicken-scented farts and rushes off camera due to diarrhea—lifts it briefly above the tedious." www.hysteria-lives.co.uk/Crack-in-the...

An agrophobic children’s illustrator is already a prisoner in her own home, but her problems are about to get worse when a pair of psychos in love move in as unwelcome tenants. With electrifying performances by Christine Lahti, Dylan McDermott & Jennifer Rubin. One of the best ... (1/2)

Whilst it's widely known that mainstream critics hated FRIDAY THE 13TH PART 2 (even though now it's widely regarded as one of the franchise's best), were you aware that many horror fans did, too? So much so that Steve Miner's film was voted the WORST horror film of 1981 by the readers of Fangoria!

And still they come FROM HELL ... '96's ONE GOOD TURN. Another overlooked gem with James Remar, Lenny von Dohlen & Suzy Amis. A man saved from an explosion years previously finds there's no such thing as a Good Samaritan when his hero comes looking for retribution. Another one reviewed for the book!
