I used to do code reading sessions with people where we tried to understand open source libraries by reading them only. I learned so much about how to understand code without making changes. Maybe I should bring that back in this age of so much generated code.

When Docker first came out I was asked multiple time to build a development toolchain with Docker. It's really to see cool to see tooling like the devcontainer standard these days! Solves so many problems we were dealing with then.
