The amount of times I have used LLMs and noticed them severely lacking in critical analyses with many incorrect assumptions, particularly on the edge-cases of knowledge, is astounding. If reviewers are using AI to help review articles this is a tragedy for new ideas and science! I beg, don't.

Happy to announce this new preprint! In it, we use info decomp (ΦID) on fMRI in Alzheimer's and MCI to explore how info-dynamic representations change. AD saw big decreases in synergy ('deductive' information) and increases in redundancy. Check it out here: 👇 www.biorxiv.org/content/10.6...

Quantifying emergence in neural populations. Great to see this preprint out by Hardik and co! Very nice results. I love the use of the Izhikevich neuron. Complements nicely prev. work colleagues and I published on a *different* measure of emergence in biophysical neural models (see next comment)
