All we ever needed was given to us the day we were born: presence, silence, and the simplicity of being. There is no need for temples, no need for complicated philosophies. Our brain and our heart are the temples, and the only worthy philosophy is kindness.
Chernobyl is now a “radioactive Garden of Eden”. Wildlife is thriving there simply because humans are gone. It’s a harsh reality check that our daily presence is more damaging to nature than nuclear pollution. Let’s think about that and do better. 🌎

It’s the truth and calling out moral disconnect that upsets people the most. So I’m not surprised by the backlash Billie Eilish received for stating the obvious. Those of us who advocate for animals experience this throughout our lives. Will repeat: YOU CAN’T CLAIM TO LOVE ANIMALS AND ALSO EAT THEM!
