I’ve been quiet because I don’t feel qualified enough to give proper info and official sources flip flopped, but I think I have to say it now. We’ve been struck by a drought this July, we haven’t gotten substantial rain all month, and now they announced they’re gonna ration water starting Friday.
In other words I might have a fucking breakdown if the con I was looking forward to ends up cancelled last minute because of this.

For me personally I’m not yet sure what measures we’re gonna take to have a water supply, and I don’t how long this is gonna last. I’m really nervous how this is gonna affect my routine, let alone my plans for the end of the month.

Update: so I think we, personally, are gonna be fine if we just be prudent with it. But anyone who can’t afford a cistern will be the most affected by these measures. Again, I would suggest looking for resources to help out in places like IG or Facebook.

Now I’m having some bad technical problems which I may have broke even worse now trying to fix it.
Okay, I got everything to work again after reinstalling. But hoo boy, this is proving to be really finicky. I've been looking through some alternatives that I added to the wishlist. I've got enough stress looming over me this month, come on.

They treat this tech that only got popular less than half a decade ago as indispensable as modern medicine or agriculture. They really want society to uproot itself to fucking summarize emails.

The internet doesn't know that feeling upset and choosing not to forgive does not entitle them to lord it over their heads AFTER they stopped that behavior. It stops being just about how you feel once you try to make it required for others to feel the same by putting exposure over accountability.

Literally that's one of my favorite things about Hellaverse It takes these characters and concepts that typically have been left as one dimensional and only really exist to fill a specific box in other media and like gives them so many good interesting layers
Yeah, in a setting where the highest beings are portrayed as multi-layered people, why should the Sins be any different? They're more than just their personifications.
I really like how human they are in comparison to a lot of other depictions of the sins. They more point out how these behaviors as sins are more or less just kinda part of living and some represent the positives some represent the negatives
Jade: What’s interesting is how some of this is a lot closer to older interpretations than one might think. A lot of older sources have Lucifer being a ‘silly little guy’ and Gluttony wasn’t always just overeating. It was about all sorts of indulgences and before that, hoarding everything.
It maybe a design choice, but I love both Mammon and Leviathan.

I like Viv’s interpretations on The Sins better: Lucifer-the clown who is too proud to reveal his low self esteem and broken dreams Satan-more focused on punishing “lawbreakers” and upholding an unfair “justice system” Bee-a party animal who still makes sure everyone’s safe and responsible
Whoever’s comparing them to Kirk the clown or Dump is lying to themselves and others. No one’s saying what they did back then was good but to compare them to fascists like Kirk and Dump is stupid. They’re lying and making things worse.
