La historia de Puerto Rico nos enseña que los gringos y otros blancos nunca han necesitado usar patrimonio para explicar por qué entran aquí a gentrificar. No nos va a proteger tratando de rechazar boricuas de la diáspora y no tenemos la autoridad como quiera.

This is why a plot point in my sci-fi anthro concept is how media illiteracy around "sentient" AI characters caused serious consequences, whereupon the subtext becomes straight-up text. It eventually extends to commentary on transhumanism (transimalism?) scams and greater undertones of colonialism.
