Ray is a 10 year U.S. Forest Service veteran at the Methow Valley Ranger District who was recently promoted to permanent staff. Elon fired him for no reason. Unjustified layoffs like Ray's will end in closed trails, unprotected lands, and less people to help in emergencies.
