nullcore. why be a human when you could be an elf? I'M A LIBRARIAN. my neighbour's cats are my best friends. my hair is blue. on gadigal land. always was, always will be.

Hello I have made this due to a mutual having issues with some folks on here forgetting this fact and shouting at him for it. Feel free to use it as a handy PSA x

A crappy photoshop paint image with a red star on blue, in comic sans is the message 'some people on the internet aren't American'

me shaking my head and holding my hand out in a warding gesture: james II of scotland (pictured) was killed by an exploding cannon at roxburgh castle me nodding my head while pointing approvingly with my hand: james II of scotland was killed by an exploding cannon (pictured) at roxburgh castle

personally i think the best part of the batman is that in narration rpats is full gravelly "i am the vengeance of the shadow in this benighted city of the damned" but in person it goes cop: looks like there's a riddle here batman: ᵗʰᵉ ʳᶦᵈᵈˡᵉʳ ᵐᵘˢᵗ ʰᵃᵛᵉ ᵈᵒⁿᵉ ᶦᵗ

this is why i infrequently go to concerts anymore. shows that used to cost 40ish are now 80+, shows that'd cost around 100 are now 300+. twenty-twenty five years ago when i lived in auckland i would go to shows in sydney and pay for ticket, flights, accommodation, and it still felt cheaper than this

get fucked. i hate how inflated concert prices have gotten here over the last 20 years. 350$ for the pit? get absolutely fucked.

a screengrab from the ticket selection section for a concert. there are13 options, ranging from $168.55 (sold out, obvs) to almost $500 for "ultimate premium reserve seating". i know it's system of a down and faith no more, but three hundred and fifty dollars for a ticket to general admission? the fuck is that?!

the phrase "the broadside of a barn" refers to the battery of cannons on one side of a barn or their coordinated fire in warfare, or a measurement of a barn's maximum simultaneous firepower which can be delivered upon a single target

did you know that the reason that overcooked cabbage with mustard tastes like coffee is that after the maillard reaction both cabbage and mustard combined have the same tannins which are created by roasting coffee beans?

it's funny buying books for kids. i'm standing in the kids section of my local bookstore looking at picture books trying to work out when kids read by while also berating myself for being such an amateur i'm a fucking librarian for fuck's sake you know?
