Just saw a lanternfly for the first time in NW Connecticut while harvesting wild grapes. Killed it... but definitely worried about our vines for next year!
Leaking faucet fixed. Just needed to pull the cartridge and soak it in vinegar to remove mineral deposits. Sometimes I feel pretty darn handy 😊
Me halfway through my lifespan development class: Did you know that babies are born with all the fingers and toes they will have throughout their lives?
Surrealist sigil working: A point rises beneath an angle. Sweep then burn the changed heading. #chaosky #surrealist
Operation Octarine is a wrap. Proud of what it was and the truly beautiful moments. I did have a grander vision and hopes for it, but no sense dwelling on that. Back to the much work ahead. Nursing prereqs are done and the application Fall 2027 are now open. Also gotta get the tattoo shop open!
Dear Democrats. Please stop spamming me. Every text message I receive from a random phone number makes me less likely to support your candidates. Thanks.
Chapel Perilous: a collaborative ritual to establish the future of chaos magic as open, creative, and mutually supportive This temple will be assembled with our collective wills, charged, and released in a group ritual at O∴O∴!

Lachan@majokkid.bsky.social · 3w agoWith @operationoctarine.org just about a week away I’d like to prepare more attacks to send towards the Heritage Witch and its minions! I’ll be accepting sigils and other ‘attacks’ via messages and other contact options listed in the linked Google Doc until around 12PM EDT on Saturday, 9/26 […]
So... Here's the thing. It's is likely that after Trump is out and Democrats will be back in, but they will try to get back to "normal" and discover that is impossible because of the damage this administration has done to infrastructure, institutions, norms, alliances, etc.
Getting turtles out of the road has got to be one my favorite things about living in NW Connecticut.
So excited for this one! I was at his talk on the headless rite at Babalon Rising and can't wait to hear about Chaos!
Operation Octarine@operationoctarine.org · 3w agoPresenting another illustrious presenter: Phainolis! He will be sharing with us Ancient Concepts of Chaos. What you do becomes who you are which reinforces what you do. Don't wait to be who you want to become. Even if you aren't good at it at first, doing is the only path to being.
People often tell me I don't look my age, 48, but damn if there aren't mornings I feel it! 😣

I think this comes from the argument that claims language sets humanity apart from animals and makes a god of language, "In the beginning was the word..." etc. Unfortunately "I have words" is the shallow philosophy of much of our culture.
Ada Mae 🏳️⚧️@roll-girl-x.northsky.social · last mo.I feel like computers effectively manipulating language can really alter your sense of self if your sense of self boils down to "I have words," and when you're that shallow it's probably easier to assume your experience is universal than it is to consider it might not be.
A friend invited us to an event using a gen ai flier. I think she somehow has no clue how off-putting this is and not sure how to respond~
Shane has FOUR incredible workshops on the docket for O∴O∴! If you’re looking to enhance your craft with emotional intelligence and thoughtful pathworking, Shane’s your man! #operationoctarine #chaosky #occultsky #witchsky
Started using @organicmaps.bsky.social today. Pretty nice. I love that it's using @openstreetmap.bsky.social so I can see local map corrections I contributed. Only question for both is why haven't y'all set up your Bluesky handles with your DNS domains?
As a volunteer firefighter and EMT, whenever the pager and phone alerts go off my first instinct is still to shout, "WE'VE GOT MOVIE SIGN!"

Nia Ain@nia.covn.io · 2mo agoDyed the panels of Chapel Perilous, the chaos magick temple for #operationoctarine They came out with some wonderful textures from the dyeing process. I wish I had time to scry with them, but had to pack it in before it stormed. #chaosky #chaosmagick
